Aqua-tots Swim Schools : Eagan

Aqua-Tots is now serving clients in the Eagan area.

The Eagan Aqua-Tots Center offers a year round, monthly tuition based swim program. Once registered, your child will be enrolled in swim lessons unless we receive notice indicating otherwise.
We recommend the 2 Days/Week option for Optimal Learning!

Swim Schedules

Swim Lesson ScheduleAt each Aqua-Tots Swim Schools, we offer a variety of flexible swim schedules to meet the needs of your family. We have group and private swim lessons year-round morning, afternoons, evenings and weekend too. Our indoor swim centers pools are heated to 90 degrees year-round to make learning fun and effective. Each of our swim lessons are 30-minutes long.

  • Level 1 - Tadpoles (4 months - 12 months)

    Primary Focus

    This swim class is for parents and infants with a focus on water adjustment to safe skills and practices. The class will equip parents with information on proper holds and safe submersions to help them become confident handling their infants in the water and help the infants adapt to the water.

    Parental Goals

    To equip parents with the holds, techniques and information necessary to confidently assist their infants in safely adapting to water.

    Student Goals

    To adjust to new sounds and experiences that help them adapt to water. The primary focus is on proper boundaries, natural breath control, safe submersion and training to find air on the back and the side of the pool.

  • Level 2 - Minnows (13 months- 30 months)

    Primary Focus

    This swim class is for parents and toddlers and focuses on equipping parents with the importance of creating boundaries for the toddlers in and around the water. Parents will learn holds and submersions and practices that will help their toddlers grow and adapt to new foundational swim skills.

    Parental Goals

    To equip parents with information necessary to confidently assist their children in becoming safe in and around water by instruction on boundaries, holds, and how to increase opportunities for their toddlers to learn submersion and ways to safely find air.

    Student Goals

    To understand boundaries, learn proper breath control, gain comfort in submersion, and learn how to safely find places that offer air. As the students show readiness, they will independently move through the water both to and from the wall and between the instructor and the parents.

  • Level 3 - Leapfrogs (2.5 years - 12 years)

    Primary Focus

    This foundational swim class is for beginner students to achieve comfort with beginning swim skills. Level 3 is divided by the age of the swimmer: ages 2.5 years - 4 years in one class and 5 years and older in a separate class.

    Student Goals

    To overcome anxiety and learn proper breath control, comfort with submersion, independent floating on the stomach and back, independent kicking to and from the wall, roll to the back as a place of safety, and elementary backstroke.

    This is an advanced beginner swim class with the goal of gaining control with breathing and basic swim skills. It is for students with no anxiety when submerging or floating on their backs and already have basic foundational swim skills.

    To efficiently move through the water demonstrating the basics of the freestyle and backstroke and breath control.

    to demonstrate freestyle with rhythmic breathing, backstroke, breaststroke, treading water and a correct sidestroke. Students will also learn the components of butterfly.

    This advanced swim class is designed to refine and strengthen each swimming stroke and build endurance while swimming. Students will learn proper starts, turns, and breathing techniques for 4 competitive strokes and sidestroke.

    Student Goals

    To swim greater distances of freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, sidestroke, butterfly, tread water with ease and learn to flip turn.
